As Jacob Vossestein likes writing, he published various other articles and booklets on international contacts, intercultural themes and issues of Dutch society or mentality.
Naming only a few more recent ones:
- For the New York newspaper Newsday (the sixth largest paper in the USA) he wrote an article on the recent acceptance of Dutch laws on euthanasia. The article of April 4, 2002, is unfortunately no longer available on Internet.
- For Intermediair/newmonday.nl, a website for young professionals, he wrote the International Communication test
www.intermediair.nl, a self-test on intercultural skills.
- In 2002, the Royal Tropical Institute published the Expatriate Handboek, a handy overview for expats on various themes of importance for future expats, including finance, taxation and other logistical matters. Jacob Vossestein wrote the introductory chapter on culture and culture shock. For the time being, the book is only available in Dutch.
- Jacob regularly writes for the Xpat Journal, a magazine for expats to the Netherlands, www.xpat.nl
- Various articles and columns on intercultural business and work for various company magazines
