In 2003 Jacob Vossestein's second book was published, with the above title (unfortunately, for the moment it is only available in Dutch.) In some ways the mirror image of Dealing with the Dutch, this book invites Dutch readers to see the logical patterns in the behaviour of people from other cultures, which they may perceive as capricious or illogical.
In outlining these patterns, Jacob uses examples from world news, from the (Dutch) multicultural society and from his own travel experiences in many countries.
The book is useful for a wide readers' audience, in business and in private, both when staying close to home or when abroad.

Widely travelled in Eastern Europe, both for pleasure and for work, Jacob wrote a book called Working with Eastern Europe, published in Oct. 2006. It describes behaviour and mentality in eastern Europe's three cultural regions, with backgrounds and useful advice for Westerners.
Target groups are not only Dutch business people, but also others in Holland and Flanders who work in or with these newly emerging markets, either in business or in not-for-profit organisations.

'Werken met India'

Likewise, based on training and experience and local research in India, Jacob wrote a small book called Working with India, which basically tells Dutch entrepreneurs and professionals how to better communicate with their Indian staff or colleagues.
The baseline is that the Dutch could improve the input and output of Indian staff (either posted in the Netherlands or working from India) by an increased awareness of both Indian and Ducth cultural idiosyncrasies, The book was published in November 2008.
