Lectures

Jacob Vossestein is a successful guest speaker at various business events, with briefings on the business cultures of the USA, Russia, Central Europe, India and the Netherlands. Among such clients are ABN-AMRO, Ahold, DHL, Enterprise Ireland, SABIC and TempoTeam.

Lecture, ABN-Amro Wereldweken He also trains international management trainees and students at Dutch institutes like management centre De Baak in Noordwijk, the Netherlands MBA University called TIAS-NIMBAS in Utrecht, and in various internationally oriented activities of Amsterdam University.

Jacob also does lecturing for other kinds of organisations, after defining target groups, themes and the approach. Some examples: vocational training institutes, idealistic and religiously oriented organisations, expatriate clubs in the Netherlands.




In co-operation with native speakers of English, he also mixed language and culture trainings on English and American business contacts for Dutch managers and staff. Clients for the latter are SMI and Euroforum.

Some lectures that took him abroad


Weisman Art Museum, Minneapolis In the summer of 2004 Jacob spoke on Dutch-American cultural differences at a seminar for local business people organised by the University of Minnesota (at the remarkable Weisman Art Museum, see picture) in Minneapolis, USA.

An enthusiastic participant working for the Housewares Export Council then invited him to speak on European cultural differences at their annual seminar Puerto Rico, June 2005. The talk was met with American enthusiasm: "You made friends today!".
